Approximately 45,000 cardiac arrests occur in Canada every year. 85% occur in public places or private homes. Less than 5% survive. However, when defibrillation is applied with CPR in the first few minutes, it can dramatically improve the individual's chance by up to 75%.
CPR Skills & AED Awareness Event
Burnt River Fire Hall from 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon.

St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Burnt River is hosting their annual roast beef dinner at the Community Centre from 4:30 – 6:30.  Adults $12.50  Children 5-12 $6.00 Under 5 free  Don’t miss this delicious meal!
