Library Events
On Saturday April 13th while children are picking up their favourite books to read, they can also check out the Drop-in craft activity.
Sunday, April 18th at 10:30 a.m.
Burnt River Firefighters Association presents their 5th annual Brunch, Jewellery and Fashion Show at the Burnt River Community Centre. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Brunch begins at 12:30 p.m. Fashion Show from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $15.00 each
Every is one welcome to come and browse the jewellery and accessories before brunch, enjoy a great meal and sit back and enjoy the fashions from "THE VILLAGE SHOP" Fenelon Falls.
Thursday, April 22 at 9 a.m.
B. R. Blooms Earth Day Clean-up. Meet at the post office at 9.00 a.m.
Come dressed warmly with boots and gloves and bring garbage bags. We will attempt to better our last year’s endeavor by increasing the area to include both sets of railway tracks, as well as the Village from the South Bridge to the North Bridge.
All are welcome. The more people that turn out, the earlier we will be finished.

Canadian Cancer Volunteers are active in our community. Our residential door-to-door campaign in the month of April gives you a chance to make a donation and get a tax receipt. Our local volunteers are Helen Boldt (454-8330) and Noni Campbell (454-8007). If we call when you are not home, please call us. The proceeds of this drive support the local 'drive' program.
